01(Image or video up to 20 seconds) In Cryptid, Ratwyfe posits “what if my ideal body was Big Foot?” and “What if my ideal body was Mothman?” Create the beauty tutorial guide for the cryptid of your choice.
02(Image – side by side) Spring is a time of rebirth and change. And some things have been the same for decades and are well overdue for their makeover. Find an adorable porcelain figurine (Precious Moments, Hummel, etc) and give it a makeover – showcasing it’s new attitude and outlook on life as it gears up to face the remainder of 2025. Show us a before and after. – Inspired by Cynthia
03(Image) Recreate the cover of your favorite musical album using only well-placed staples.
04(Video up to 15 seconds) Play an instrument of your choice and sing a song about your favorite food while consuming that food item. You must use your instrument to feed yourself.
05(Image) In Darling by Halsey, she sings, “only you have showed me how to love being alive”. Write and deliver a note to someone who has showed you how to love being alive. If they’re on social media, be sure to tag them in your post/skeet.
06(Image or video up to 10 seconds) Throw a Lunatic Ball co-hosted by Shinedown and you. Make sure your friends are coming too.
07(Image or video up to 15 seconds) H-O-T-T-O-G-O – Please get your hot drink to go… and then deliver it to someone who looks like they could use a warm pick-me-up.
08(Video – up to 1 minute) Taking inspiration from School House Rock, Bulbous Bouffant, Bill Nye the Science Guy, or Sue Dickson write a catchy, rythmic, repetitive song or sketch about a current issue or cause you think people should know more about / be paying more attention to. Create a music video – animated, acted, or by taking clips from other sources – to help spread awareness.
09(Image) The Art Guys (aka Michael Galbreth and Jack Massing) created The Cheese Grid, “an architectural exploration of cheese” more than 30 years ago. We think it’s time for an update. Using the food item of your choice, create a grid of your own. The final artwork must be at least 3ft by 3ft.
10(Image) To paraphrase the song Cardboard Castles by Watsky: Build the Taj Mahal with things you found at Dollarmart. Give your tower teeth and watch it bite the sky.
11(Video – up to 15 seconds) You’ve heard of marching to the beat of your own drum and you’ve heard of the Ministry of Silly Walks. Combine the two. Play a homemade, up-cycled percussion instrument (made from an item or items in your house that would otherwise be trashed) while taking a silly walk (or march if your heart prefers) through your local record store.
12(Video up to 30 seconds) HBO has declined to renew “Sesame Street” for new episodes. The series that’s been teaching generations of little kids since 1969 now has no studio. Create a puppet show showcasing the hard times faced by these displaced Muppets and post it with a call to action encouraging your friends and family to consider donating to Sesame Workshop to ensure the residents of 123 Sesame Street are still around to teach kids of all needs and backgrounds: https://sesameworkshop.org/support-us/
13(Video up to 10 seconds) Make a “Rain Maker” tube out of a paper towel roll or some other cylinder and bring the music of “rain” inside. Decorate the outside with images, drawings, or quotes that inspire you. Demonstrate the sound of your creation in a video.
14(Image or video up to 20 seconds) Did you set a personal goal or resolution for 2025 that has already fallen through? That’s because so many of us fail to make our goals fun and exciting. Where are the goals to get weirder? To try new types of fruit? To give more hugs? Take this week to think about a 2025 goal that will make your life better – not because you’ve tried to change yourself as a person, but because you’ve embraced whimsy, creativity, joy, community, and/or experimentation. 16(Image or pdf) Write a 300-word or less fanfiction featuring the pre-1900s composer of your choice.
17(image) In March March, The Chicks inlcude the line “March march to my own drum / Hey, hey, I’m an army of one” while discussing the issues they’re passionate about. Select one issue that you’d be willing to go fight for as an army of one, create a poster declaring your battle cry, then dress as a warrior and stand in a public space to share your important message. Having your own drum, optional.

19(Video – up to 1 minute) In the song Hi Ren by Ren, Ren has a conversation with his mental illness. Write the conversation you’d like have with your own personal demons.
20(Image or video – up to 15 seconds) Composer Olivier Messiaen had synesthesia and heard color. Create a work of art that shows why a musical piece is a certain color. Be sure to include the song name/artist in the description. – Submitted by Annie TB
21(Image or video up to 10 seconds) Last summer “fridgescaping” blew up as the hot new TikTok trend, but that’s so 2024. Let’s see you “-scape” a closet, pantry, garage, or other storage unit instead. – Inspired by Marina
22(Image or video up to 15 seconds). Cup of Chai coffee? No, no. Start the day with a cup of Tchaikovsky.
23(Image) Musicians on Call connects artists/musicians to patients, families, and caregivers in healthcare environments to bring a “daily dose of joy”. Sign up as a volunteer so you can share your talent in-person or virtually. Not musically inclined? That’s okay! 24(Image) Let’s see your Frozen frozen art. Fill a pie tin or other similarly sized container with water then use flowers, leaves, sticks, pieces of paper, and other small pieces of detritus to depcit a character or scene from Frozen. Freeze your art (outdoors or in a freezer) to create an ice ornament. (If you want to be able to hang it afterwards, be sure to add a loop of string that sticks out before you freeze it). Show us the final frozen Frozen ornament.
25(Image) Be a pal to pollinators everywhere! Read a little about the diets of the locals who help provide fresh food (butterflies, moths, bees, wasps). Plant indigenous seeds or seedlings that will provide food for our flying friends. Depending on your location, your thumb’s hue, and last frost dates, you may need to want to plant these indoors until the weather is warmer. Be sure to play your baby plants music to help them grow. Post a photo of your planted seeds/seedlings with a caption letting us know what you planted and which pollinators it attracts. – Submitted by Ella
