Cause Spooky Season Feels Like a Good Time for a Rogue Hunt

Theme: Halloween and other Fall holidays
Style: Anything goes: Work alone or work with a team.
Submission: Items should be posted to Instagram, Twitter (X), or Bluesky with the hashtags #RogueHunt and #13DaysofRogue and the item number during the hunt if you want them seen by judges. (You’re welcome to share your work in the Treehouse or on Discord after the hunt ends.)
Prizes: Since there’s no cost for this hunt, there are no monetary prizes. However, a few items will be selected by the judges as *worthy* and be lauded appropriately.
When: October 22 at 8pm ET – Nov 3 at 8pm ET. That gives you 13 days to go Rogue.
Rogue-Ish Rules
For the most part, the general Rogue Rules apply, but some changes…
- Item Interpretation. We’d prefer you don’t, but this Halloween hunt is a little more loosey-goosey, wishy-washy than our August Hunt and we want to see your creative brilliance. So, if you can have fun and impress us, go for it!
- Teams. There are no official teams for this hunt, but collaboration is fine. You’re welcome to work alone or with other Rogues.
- Prizes. There will be no monetary prizes for the 13 Days of Halloween Hunt. There will only be judge’s favorites which can earn you Rogue Points and bragging rights. There is no overall team winner, no altruist prize, and no item specific prize.
- Registration Fees. This Halloween Hunt is free. However, if you’d like to “tip a Rogue volunteer” use the link below. This will go partially to keeping Rogue alive (taxes, ad-free website, email server, and all that not-so-fun back end stuff) and partially towards your admin volunteers.

- Sharing Your Work on Social Media: This is FINE. In fact, it’s NECESSARY. Use the correct hashtags to ensure your item is seen / judged.
- Points. There are none for participation, sorry. Because you’re not registering, we have no way of tying your participation back to you. See Prizes (#3) above to see how you might be lucky enough to earn Rogue Points by completing stellar, funny, scary, or heart-warming items.
These rules may be updated at any time for clarity’s sake or to cover the gazillion things we haven’t thought of yet.
How to Play
