A traditional bake would include a few items (tokens or charms) that predict the future of whoever finds it once the bread has been baked and sliced. Some common tokens include a pea (no marriage), a coin (wealth), a ring (marriage), and a piece of cloth (poverty). Bake your own Barmbrack and insert at least 3 of your own tokens to predict the coming year. |

Many accept used towels and bedding, gently used pet supplies or toys, and cleaning supplies. Find out what your local animal rescue is in need of and hopefully do a bit of fall cleaning at the same time. If you don’t already own something your local animal rescue accepts, check out their Amazon Wish List instead. Take a photo of your items at the place of donation (or a screenshot of your purchased items if you go the Amazon Wish List route) and tag the animal rescue organization in your post. |
