  • Registration for the Heroes + Helpers Hunt is open

    Cost: $5

    Theme: Heroes and Helpers – The extraordinary and the mundane

    Style: Individual Hunt. Your ticket purchase grants you access to the list. You’re welcome to work with other Rogues to complete items.

    Submission: Items should be posted to Instagram, Facebook, Bluesky, or TikTok with the hashtag #RogueHeroesHunt and the item number during the hunt. Please tag The Rogue Hunt to ensure they are seen by judges. Please make sure your account – or at least your posts – are public. (You’re welcome to share your work in the Treehouse or Discord after the hunt ends.)

    Prizes: 2-3 items will be selected to win a judge’s prize. There are no team prizes or overall prizes.

    When: You have 72-hours to Rogue: Friday, 27 February 8pm EDT – Monday, 2 March 8pm EDT

    The calculations are in and the lists have been updated with points from 2025! Check out the Rutabega and Wendigo Lists to see our current Top Rogues!

    Both lists showcase Rogues who have put in lots of time, energy, and talent to earn the most points possible throughout their Rogue careers. A mighty and ambitious feat that we bow down before. You deserve a little personal celebration! Our suggestion? On the next full moon, go out and do a celebratory jig in your most sparkly attire. Bang a drum. Ask a stranger to provide accompaniment. Howl at the moon.

  • 2025 Rogue Hunt Winners

    The 2025 competition was fierce with more than 1,600 submissions for 113 items. So many of them impressed us, shocked us, made us laugh, inspired us, or made us cry (in a good way, we promise). Your creativity knows no bounds and your submissions as a whole bring us all so much joy.

  • Friday Update

    List Update

    Updates:
    Items 031 and 050 have been added

    Note: For items that are posted to social media, we generally ask for either the original or a screenshot. If we didn’t specify in the task (032 and 107), it is up to you, but uploading your original image is more likely to make the memory book. A link is always appreciated in the comment/description, but obviously not required if we didn’t ask for it.

    Reminders:

    • Get everything uploaded before the deadline! Items added or altered after hunt end will not be awarded points
    • Make sure everything is labeled with the item number at the beginning
    • Check that you have labeled your items with the correct number
    • Check that your items are completed in the correct format (image vs picture vs audio vs PDF)

    Out4S Fundraising Update:
    129 Supporters have raised over $2200 so far. Last year we raised over $4,200 for our Spread Goodness Like Glitter Item. With 47 hours left in the 2024 Rogue Hunt, do we think we can raise more this year?

    • We have raised over $1,500 for OUT for Sustainability AND cleared more than 2/3 of the items off The Starfish Foundation’s Wish list. Way to go Rogues!!!

    • The Rogue Hunt will not be providing item clarifications during the hunt. See Rule 8 for help.

  • Rogue 2024 is Live

    UPDATE:

    • Item 2 has been clarified to allow for a collage of photos instead of physically lining pieces of nature. (Physically lining items up is also fine.)

    Completing and submitting an item:

    • Follow the directions on the task to know what to submit (image, video, PDF, etc.) and any other parameters for that item (such as video length).
    • Upload all completed items to your team’s Google Folder.
    • NEW This Year: Please name each of your items starting with a three digit number (001, 045, 112). You can include additional words after the number, but it must start with the three digit number.
    • All items must be uploaded by the end of the hunt (August 11 at 9am EDT). Any items submitted after the end of the hunt (yes, we can tell) will not be awarded points.
